PRP Hair Restoration

The loss of hair is often very difficult for either men and women to accept.  Injections of platelet-rich plasma (PRP) are a very interesting alternative to help prevent a worsening of this sign of aging.  PRP is a safe, well-tolerated technique that works well for both men and women.  PRP stimulates hair regrowth, decreases hair loss and increases hair density.

The PRP procedure involves a blood sample, where approximately 10ml of blood is taken through a standard blood test. The blood is centrifuged to isolate the plasma component which contains a very concentrated number of platelets and growth factors.  Injected into the scalp, these natural elements of your body, reduce hair loss, densify and thicken your hair.

The injection procedure is very simple and takes about 30 minutes.  The overall appointment requires 45 to 60 minutes to allow for a detailed evaluation of the area to treat, a determination of how much PRP to inject, drawing the blood sample, preparation of the PRP and finally the injection of the PRP with an injector gun device.
A series of 4 to 6 treatments at 4-week intervals is generally recommended.  Repeat injections every 4 to 6 months are required to maintain the result.
