Treatable Conditions

Facial Aging

Facial aging is a vast topic with many treatment options. We definitely need to see you in consultation before we can give any advice as to your particular needs

There are non-surgical and surgical options available to treat facial aging. We can treat folds and wrinkles with fillers and muscle relaxants (e.g. BOTOX®). We can restore facial volume with deeper placement of hyaluronic acid fillers over the cheek bones. To improve the texture and clarity of your skin, we can offer microdermabrasion, chemical peels and facials. Deeper and more specialized treatments with  fractionedl lasers (Sciton ProFractionalTM or Fraxel),  MicroLaserPeel,  intense pulsed light (IPLTM or BBLTM)technology are also useful in these cases.  They can often be combined with other treatments during the same session. The ProFractionalTM XC  also tightens the skin while simultaneously diminishing imperfections. Certainly, for significant skin sagging, surgery remains an excellent option and examples include a facelift or an eyelid procedure (blepharoplasty). For those people with early jowls or sagging skin, Thermage® or SkinTyte are  excellent options.

Dr. Thompson and Dr. Germain will examine all the possibilities with you! Take advantage of the  2 Plastic Surgeons at your disposal.
