Thigh Lift

The undesirable sagging of the inner thighs occurs over time as well as after a drastic weight loss. During your consultation, we will carefully examine your tissues and the overall appearance of your lower extremities. We will tailor your surgical correction to the specific needs of you and your anatomy.

Redrapage-des-cuisses

For patients in whom the problem is minor, liposuction alone may be sufficient to remove the excess fatty tissue and allow the skin to redrape. For patients in whom there is excess skin, a formal thigh lift is required. The incisions may be placed transversely in the groin/buttock crease or vertically along the inner thigh or both. An ideal candidate for this type of operation is a healthy, non-smoker with elastic skin and near-normal weight.

We will discuss the possible operations with you along with their associated risks. These include scarring, infection, bleeding (hematoma), delayed healing, delayed recovery, incomplete correction, leg swelling, deep vein thrombosis and pulmonary embolism. We take all necessary precautions to minimize your chance of complications following the procedure.
